We Made It!

Well…we made it! 14 hours to Shanghai and another 4”ish” hours to Phenom Pehn.  We arrive safe and sound.  For those of you not following the trip at Vista Community Church, please do so as there’s further updates via our video blog among a couple of other cool things related to the trip. It’s about 1:30 a.m. in Phnom Pehn and we are still unpacking and pretty wiped out.  Tomorrow is day 1 on the ground and our first afternoon with our kids.  The theme of the week with the kids is identity.  Please pray that all of us grab hold of our true identity in Christ.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.  I Peter 2:9-10 (thank you Kim Webb)
